The annual reunion event hosted by PUAN North Punjab turned out to be an incredible experience for everyone involved. The event’s success served as a reminder that the connection to the network extended far beyond graduation, as attendees celebrated not only their past but also their shared enthusiasm for creating a brighter future together. The North Punjab alumni extended a warm welcome to all the guests, creating an inviting atmosphere from the start.

The attendees stood with honor as the national anthems of Pakistan and the United States resonated through the venue, commemorating 76 years of friendship between the two nations. The history was eloquently recalled by MC Ms. Kanza Umer, who skillfully highlighted the significance of this enduring relationship.

The event featured captivating performances by the Art Club students from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. These performances included folk music, mime acts, and a thought-provoking panel discussion on harassment, complemented by a skit addressing this year’s theme of Climate change. These contributions were met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Dr. Salma Umber, President of the North Punjab Chapter, took the opportunity to reflect on the chapter’s accomplishments, sharing some of its proudest moments. The presence of government officials, professors, media representatives, and city dignitaries underscored the significant impact that the chapter’s alumni have had on society.

Karl Roger, Public Diplomacy Officer, U.S. Consulate General, Lahore attending the North Punjab reunion for the second time, expressed his delight in representing the event. He praised the alumni for their role in strengthening the bond between Pakistan and the United States over the course of 76 years.

Discussions during the event covered a range of important topics, including workplace harassment and its legal implications. The alumni engaged in conversations about how they can play a proactive role in protecting others and raising awareness about these issues. Climate change also took center stage, sparking meaningful conversations about driving positive environmental change.

The exceptional achievements of the alumni were showcased, acknowledging their significant contributions to their respective professions and communities. A special awards ceremony recognized their dedication and impact.

The networking opportunities were embraced by both alumni and guests, resulting in a vibrant atmosphere filled with shared moments and plenty of photo opportunities. With an attendance of around 130 people, this reunion truly demonstrated the strength and vitality of the PUAN North Punjab community.
