Register with PUAN

The U.S. Embassy’s Public Affairs Section is updating the contact information of its exchange program alumni. The alumni include anyone who has visited the United States on any U.S.-government funded exchange program or participated in any in-country program, such as the English Access Microscholarship and English Works Program.

Please note that all the opportunities are conditioned to Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) registration through the PUAN Database. Just because you receive emails from PUAN, does not mean that you are registered through the PUAN Database. To check if you are registered with PUAN Database, please follow the guidelines below:

  • Click on this link: https://puan.pk/AlumniRegistration/.
  • Enter email ID and password if you have them.
  • If the email and password are registered, then you will be able to see the details of your account and your PUAN ID.
  • If your chapter is listed incorrectly or there is any other information that needs correction, send an email requesting correction to the Chapter’s points of contacts listed here

If you are not registered, follow these guidelines:

Verifying your existing information to activate your account

  • Go to this link: https://puan.pk/AlumniRegistration/index.cfm?include=Signup.
  • Enter your email ID (most probably the email on which you have received this email).
  • Click on Sign up.
  • You will see a pop-up saying “Success!”
  • Your password will be emailed to you, and you can use it to access your PUAN account information, including your PUAN ID. Most system generated emails land in junk folders, so kindly check that, too.
  • After you have received your password, visit this link https://puan.pk/AlumniRegistration/ to log in.
  • If your email does not match or you get an error message, then email the alumni coordinator in your region, who are listed above.

For Password recovery

  • Please visit this link https://puan.pk/AlumniRegistration/. From a PC, enter your email ID and hit “Forgot Password” and you will receive a password reset email. Most password reset emails land in junk folder, so kindly check that, too.
