Workshop on Personal Statement and Interviewing Skills

PUAN-North Punjab Chapter recently organized an insightful one-day workshop on “Personal Statement and Interviewing Skills” at Lincoln Corner, G.C. University Faisalabad. Over 50 enthusiastic students from various departments joined us to gain valuable knowledge for applying to foreign scholarships. Dr. Bilal Hussain, Assistant Professor of Food Science department and Erasmus Plus scholar, shared expertise on crafting a compelling statement of motivation, distinguishing between Statement of Purpose, and reasons for scholarship rejections.

Ms. Summya Tariq, Education Advisor at US Consulate Lahore, presented on the role of USEFP and winning the prestigious Fulbright scholarship. She highlighted opportunities and challenges in the US education system.

President of North Punjab Chapter, Dr. Salma Umber, emphasized PUAN’s objectives and the purpose of conducting this empowering workshop. Participants were also guided about the abundant learning opportunities available at the Lincoln Corner At the end, participants received certificates to recognize their active involvement, and a delightful lunch was served.
