A dedicated environmental activist, he frequently composed Op-eds in Daily English Newspapers, shedding light on pressing matters such as climate change and air pollution.

Ali has taken the initiative to establish ‘JUST DEW IT,’ a venture that aimed to generate water from the air, particularly in regions struck by disasters. The innovative venture, Just Dew It, along with its team, has taken part in a competition at Texas A&M University, Texas, USA. The outcome of their hard work was the remarkable creation known as the dewDrop. This revolutionary system provided a straightforward yet highly effective remedy to consistently capture clean water from the atmosphere, regardless of the location’s geography. Each day brought the promise of collecting an average of 8-12 liters of pure and drinkable water for dewDrop users. This pioneering solution effectively tackled one of the most critical challenges that arose from natural disasters.

Recently, Ali had the privilege of presenting at the PUAN Climate Change Conference, where he discussed the concept of ‘Just Transition.’ The team, known as JUST ‘DEW IT,’ had clinched the second position for their ingenious idea of extracting water from the air in disaster-stricken regions, offering a means of supplying clean water to the populace without relying on any external energy sources.
