Let’s Curb the Menace of Drug Abuse

Let’s Curb the Menace of Drug Abuse

Led by Rida Sindhu, English Works alumna, PUAN North Punjab chapter recently organized a remarkable seminar and walk to raise awareness about drugs and substance abuse. During the seminar, experts from various fields highlighted the significant social and legal consequences of substance abuse. They emphasized how it can strain relationships, cause financial issues, impact academic and occupational performance, and even contribute to criminal behavior.

Many countries have implemented laws and regulations to control drug production, distribution, and use, aiming to reduce substance abuse and its related problems. Pakistan is also dedicated to curbing substance abuse and protecting its youth. Addressing this issue requires a comprehensive approach that includes prevention, education, early intervention, treatment, and support services.

Together, let’s work towards a drug-free society.
