Meet Haroon Siraj, a young journalist from Swat Valley who is fervently driving climate change and environmental awareness.
Haroon Siraj is a U.S-Pakistan Professional Partnership Program for Journalists 2014 alumnus who is using his skills as a journalist to raise awareness about climate change and environmental issues in Swat Valley. He has written extensively on the topic, and his work has been featured in national and international media outlets.
Haroon is also a passionate advocate for ecosystem revival. He has founded an ecosystem restoration and humanitarian collective, and he regularly organizes tree-planting initiatives and educational forums. He is also a vocal critic of irresponsible waste disposal practices, and he has exposed several cases of environmental pollution in Swat Valley.
Haroon’s work is making a real difference in Swat Valley. He is helping to raise awareness about climate change and environmental issues, and he is inspiring others to take action. He is a true environmental hero, and we are proud to have him as a member of the PUAN community.
