Trafficking in Persons Interest Group Meets for PUAN Talks

20 members of the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network’s (PUAN) Trafficking in Persons interest group recently gathered for PUAN Talks. The group discussed efforts to tackle trafficking challenges in Pakistan. Mr. Kelly Ryan, Public Diplomacy Officer at the U.S. Embassy Islamabad, welcomed the participants and acknowledged their collaborative efforts in leveraging their expertise to combat trafficking. Mr. Gerard Hodel, Political Officer at the U.S. Embassy Islamabad, highlighted the United States’ commitment to countering trafficking around the world and cooperation here in Pakistan.

The panel discussion, featuring IVLP alumni Mr. Syed Kausar Abbas (Executive Director, SSDO) and Mr. Talha Ahad Rasheed (CEO, TCM Group), provided insightful perspectives, their unique experiences, and addressed participants’ questions.
