PUAN’s South AJK Chapter Organizes Traffic Rules Awareness Activity

Do you know that we can stop road accidents before they stop us? Well, PUAN’s South AJK chapter is fully cognizant of this fact and hence it organized an awareness activity regarding “Traffic Rules Awareness to Avoid Traffic Hazards and Accidents” at Islamgarh Higher Secondary School, Mirpur Azad Kashmir. Students, teachers, journalists, traders and civil society representatives attended the session. District Traffic Incharge Ch. Muhammad Munir & Sub-Inspector Sardar Ghalib Hussain along with other staff members educated the participants regarding traffic rules, importance of helmets, penalties for underage drivers, one-wheeling and harmful effects of mobile phone usage while driving.

The instructors emphasized that the frequency of accidents can be reduced to a great deal by following traffic rules & regulations. Awareness pamphlets were also distributed among the participants.
