PUAN Multimedia Journalist Covering Impact of Pandemic on Marginalized Communities

Meet Fariha Fatima who has been working from dawn to dusk to cover the remotest areas of Sindh as a part of her journalistic duties. Fariha is associated as Multimedia Journalist with ARY News and works extensively to cover the issues of marginalized communities. She is also recipient of U.S. Pakistan Professional Partnership Program for Journalists at Oklahoma University, Batch Oct / Nov 2019, Agahi Award 2016, Humanitarian Reporting Award 2017 and Sustainable Development Journalism Award 2018.

In one of her recent news reports, Fariha has covered the hardships of fishermen community and impact of COVID-19 on their lives by visiting Ibrahim Hyderi area of Karachi.
