PakStockPhoto Becomes First Comprehensive Image Library of Pakistan

It is usually difficult to find photos that represent the true picture of Pakistan on local and international forums. PakStockPhoto is a startup that decided to take up the challenge by becoming Pakistan’s first and only comprehensive image library. It has been co-founded and headed by Muhammad Abid Azam who is Professional Fellows alumnus, 2019. The forum contains thousands of images about country’s extraordinary nature, heritage, people, landscape, cultural diversity, lifestyle, urban/rural areas, entrepreneurship, health, and other similar themes.

The platform is empowering more than 700 local photographers all across Pakistan, out of which, 35% are females. PakStockPhoto has been featured in the Independent Urdu, Dawn News, ProPakistani and TechJuice, with viewership in more than 75 countries around the world. It has worked on different photo projects with the Government of Pakistan, World Bank, UNDP, NUST and NIC.

We are really proud of you Abid they way you are empowering local photographers especially females with such a novel idea!
