Educating for Empowerment: Jamshoro Chapter’s Women’s Health and Hygiene Initiative

A recent chapter activity by PUAN Jamshoro chapter was spearheaded by Kiran Kumari (English Works alumna 2022). The event, titled “Women’s Health and Hygiene,” aimed to provide a comprehensive and engaging session focused on women’s well-being. The meet-up covered essential topics, equipping women with knowledge and practices crucial for their overall health. Encompassing areas such as menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, nutrition, and self-care routines, participants gained valuable insights into proper hygiene practices, dispelled myths, and received practical tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

The primary objective of this activity was to foster an inclusive and open environment for discussions, empowering each woman to make informed decisions about her health. Distinguished figures, including High School Head Master Sir Hotchand, President of PUAN Jamshoro Chapter Mr. Rajesh Goswami, and the school’s teachers, emphasized the significance of women’s health and hygiene towards the session’s conclusion.
