YES Alumnus from Karachi Participates in UN Youth Assembly

Mr. Bilal Zubair Khan, an alumnus of the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) program from Karachi represented Pakistan during the February 2014 Annual Youth Assembly at the United Nations in New York. He participated in several panels and other activities and spoke about entrepreneurial startups by women in developing countries. Youth delegates from all UN member nations attended the event, which focused on bridging the gap between social entrepreneurship and youth employment. Delegates interacted with accomplished entrepreneurs from around the world and discussed sustainable means of increasing employment rates and promoting entrepreneurship.

Congrats to Bilal for his excellent representation of both his country, and the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network!
