Under the celebrations of 75 years of the U.S.-Pak bilateral ties, meet Ayesha Shaikh on whose mind, the famous quote of Paulo Coelho “when you want something the whole universe conspires “๐ข๐ง ๐จ๐ซ๐๐๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐๐ก๐ข๐๐ฏ๐ ๐ข๐ญโ left a lifelong effect. Ayesha belongs to an impoverished area of Sukkur, Sindh but what makes her different from others is that she always wanted her unique identity. She believes that if the universe is in favor of one achieving something, it would create chances, but it does not mean that anything can be accomplished without earnest efforts. Therefore, she remained consistent in her struggle to achieve her desires.
Ayesha always wanted to study in America and explore the world by sharing her ideas on other side of the border, but it seemed nearly impossible until one day her creative writing skills took her to an exchange program at the University of Iowa, USA as the youngest and only child from Pakistan to attend the under 18 programs named โ๐๐๐ญ๐ฐ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌโ.
She met students from 40+ international high schools there. Being the youngest one from Pakistan to achieve the scholarship; Ayesha decided to take the chance and did the most out of her trip and further built on her writing skills and arranged advanced workshops in Pakistan. She always wanted to make her country proud by giving back to society and this was the time. Ayesha has also worked on human rights and has recently completed her tenure as an Anti Harassment and Digital Security Counsellor at PUAN where she tirelessly worked for the youth and managed her studies and social work alike.

Ayesha says that “It’s just the beginning of my journey towards a peaceful world and I’m sure I’ll achieve this dream”. She has also won many national and international awards for working on many issues concerning her society and beyond.
