‘What You Seek is Seeking You’ Seems True for Alina

Some of the inspiring stories aren’t found in the imagination, but rather in real-life. Alina Memon’s story is one of them. Its hard to picture what life would be like when an eight-year young girl child sees her father facing worst financial crisis. Alina’s father remained on unpaid leaves for almost two decades. She had to listen to several taunts. She grew up in an unpleasant environment where she and her siblings were quoted as useless as their father. Fortunately, a turning point came into her life.

In the year 2008, when she was studying in intermediate, she received an offer to join FM 105 Hyderabad as a ‘Radio Presenter’. Her strongest support was her father who didn’t let anyone’s disapproval derail her daughter’s dream. He convinced her mother as well as he opposed the criticism of the entire family. Alina started her career and thrived. She gradually became one of the best RJs of Hyderabad. Later, she was promoted as Program Coordinator and executive team member of Youth FM 99 Hyderabad. Learning to manage her expenses was another challenge and Alina met it successfully. She completed her graduation with her own hard-earned money. After graduation, she wanted to move to Karachi, but she again faced opposition from family and relatives. Constant disapproval is a strong factor that usually impact women but Alina’s father supported her again and somehow she managed to move to Karachi. While moving out is not always an easy decision, sometimes it becomes necessary when in pursuit of better opportunities. She began her job in Tribe Consulting and alongside she joined MAST FM 103. Later she was chosen for IVLP program in 2016 and flew to United States of America while she was a part of AWAZ TV as a morning show host and served for over 2 years. She got an opportunity to join Samaa FM 107.4 for the same slot and she had to say Goodbye to her TV career as radio has always been her first love.

Currently, she is Mera FM 107.4’s radio presenter, Finance Secretary of an NGO called AYUDA Foundation, and Director of Operations of her own due diligence and risk management company called FAR INTELLIGENCE.

Lots of prayers for you strong girl for becoming beacon of hope for many at such a young age
