Asif Javed is our alumnus for SUSI exchange program (2019). SUSI is an intensive short-term academic program that is to provide groups of undergraduate student leaders with a deeper understanding of the United States’ culture and values. Asif considers himself fortunate enough to be selected for this program. “When they say, it’s a life-changing opportunity, they say it right. I was one of the lucky participants in SUSI 2019.”
During his stay in the U.S., he had an amazing idea of networking scholars from around the world with different cultures and backgrounds having same objectives of addressing the issues in U.S. institutions. He got the chance to grasp new knowledge and discover new interests out of this experience of a lifetime educational, intellectual, and cultural exchange.
“My exchange program enhanced my personality academically, culturally, professionally, and socially. On my return to Pakistan from the U.S. my friends, colleagues, and family members loved the experience and exposure. They wanted me to share everything which I experienced during my stay in the United States, and I did. I can’t be more thankful for this opportunity!” Asif.
