Space Camp Alumni Highlight U.S. Exchange Programs

Karachi Space WeekLincoln Corner Karachi partnered with the Space & Upper Atmosphere Commission of Pakistan (SUPARCO) Oct. 5-6 to celebrate World Space Week 2013 at the Pakistan Air Force Museum Karachi.  The program included screenings of the film “50 Years of NASA” and presentations by Pakistani NASA Space Camp alumni Ayesha Zubair Memon and Babar Ali.

Wearing NASA astronaut uniforms, Ayesha and Babar shared their experiences on the exchange program, which included participants from both Pakistan and India.  Ayesha highlighted how wonderful it was for her to represent Pakistan as a woman, and Babar shared how U.S. exchange programs are an equal opportunity for people from every strata of society.
