PUANforPakistan: Webinar on Including Marginalized & Vulnerable People in Risk Communication & Community Engagement

The U.S. Mission in Pakistan in collaboration with the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) has launched a virtual series of discussions on topics and themes catering to the needs and interests of more than 32,000 alumni across Pakistan. Under its series of #PUANforPakistan, PUAN conducted a webinar titled, “Including Marginalized & Vulnerable People in Risk Communication & Community Engagement” on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 04:00 PM via Facebook live.

Panelists for the session included:

● Dr. Aamer Taj, Fulbright Fellow, Associate Professor, Institute of Manager Sciences, Peshawar, PUAN KP Chapter

● Abia Akram, Disability Leadership Professional Exchange Program alumna, Co-Coordinator, Asia Pacific Women with Disabilities United and Coordinator, South Asia Disability and Development Initiative (SADDI) Project, PUAN Islamabad Chapter

● Mahvesh Ali Khan, IVLP alumna, Lecturer, FAST, University of Peshawar, Founder, Ran’aa Child Welfare Foundation, PUAN KP Chapter
