Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) in collaboration with the U.S. Mission in Pakistan, alumni community and sectoral experts has initiated a virtual series of sessions titled ‘PUAN Talks’ by keeping in view the interests of wider audiences. Under its series of #PUANTalks, PUAN conducted an exclusive virtual session titled, “Protecting Animal Rights” on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 07:00 PM via Facebook live.
With this session, PUAN highlighted the needs, advocacy efforts and policies for protection of animals. The panelists also talked about the recent relocation of most of the wildlife animals from Islamabad Zoo to other sanctuaries due to unsafe and unprotected living conditions.
