Artificial Intelligence improves the workplace efficiency and augments the work humans do with a guaranteed level of precision and accuracy. AI can be applied to any sector and keeping this objective in mind, PUAN’s South Punjab Chapter organized a session under PUAN’s Country Project ‘Digital Skills for STEAM’ under PAUN chapter activity grants. The session’s theme was ‘Converting Challenges into Opportunities for COVID-19 and After’ and venue was Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan.
During the session, the speakers share their insight regarding the use and need of Artificial Intelligence in today’s world. Teachers spend a tremendous amount of time grading homework and tests. They shared that AI could grade papers and essays much faster than a human can. AI can step in and make quick work out of these tasks. This will give teachers more time to work with students on critical thinking and analysis skills and would also allow teachers to focus on individual students who would benefit from their guidance. A total number of 70 alumni from different exchange programs related to the same field attended the session.
