Pakistan U.S. Alumni Network Quetta Chapter recently organized the annual alumni reunion at Quetta Serena Hotel. Alumni from different exchange programs the event together and shared their exchange experiences and social contributions to society.
The program started with reciting the Holy Quran and showed solidarity with flood victims in 30 seconds of silence. Vice president Miss Afshan Baloch warmly welcomed all the participants.
President Mr. Syed Qudrat gave Quetta Chapter review through a presentation on chapter activities. There was an interesting panel discussion on the topic: “How PUAN can be strengthened within the network as well as the community.” Panelists shared their opinions and were briefed about their contributions to the network and community. They shed light on how they utilize their knowledge and skills for community development.
USEFP Alumni outreach officer Ms. Samana formally introduced PUAN and gave a presentation on Alumni Small Grants. She responded to audience queries about U.S.-funded opportunities and the application process. Ms. Farwa Batool briefed about Lincoln Corners Pakistan and alumni coordination to extend Lincoln Corner’s programming in Balochistan. Cultural music arrangement added to the beauty of the event.
The program ended with an awards ceremony in which the chapter leadership was awarded shields and certificates for their outstanding efforts the for successful completion of chapter activities and continued commitment to the cause of engaging and empowering communities during the corona pandemic. All senior alumni and Ms. Samana appreciated Quetta Chapter for successfully organizing the annual reunion.
