PUAN Flood Warriors Rise to Aid Flood Victims

Heavy rains have triggered flash floods and wreaked havoc across Pakistan since mid-June leaving large swathes of the country inundated. The cities of Sindh province are no exception, especially Shaheed Benazirabad District previously known as Nawabshah District where villages are submerged in water. The affected population has the overall challenge of inundated houses, streets, and markets. Drainage systems have collapsed in cities and even villages have no such system. Several Katcha/Pakka houses collapsed, and livelihood resources were stopped.
