Faisal Naseem, Assistant Director of Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) in Balochistan, is an IVLP alumnus on Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management. He works at the transit point in Taftan, Balochistan assisting all quarantined pilgrims returning from Iran.
Under Faisal’s supervision, PDMA has supplied tents, toilets, and other basic necessities to pilgrims. Food, water, and medicine were also supplied for more than a thousand people.
Faisal credits his strategy and management style for handling this pandemic to applying what he learned during IVLP.
