Three Pakistani alumni of IVLP, YES, and the Professional Journalists Exchange programs participated in the “South Asia Summit on Social Media for Digital Empowerment” in New Delhi September 19-20. At the conference, they shared their perspectives on digital storytelling, engaging youth through social media, and the changing environment for journalists in Pakistan. Sher Bano (YES alumna) gave an interview to one of India’s most popular television channels, NDTV, about the Pakistani delegation’s experience at the summit.
