Dr. Muhammad Usman Zaheer is the first veterinarian from Pakistan to earn the status of Diplomate ACVPM by passing the certification examination of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine.
He is a Surveillance Lead at Health Security Partners, where he is working to strengthen a sustainable health system for preventing and controlling the emergence of drug resistance bugs for a healthier Pakistan for its people, animals, and environment.
Dr. Zaheer pursued PhD in epidemiology from Colorado State University on the Fulbright Program.
