grants seed moneyFollowing the successful International Young Alumni Conference (IYAC), the U.S. Embassy and the U.S. Educational Foundation in Pakistan’s (USEFP) Alumni Office (USEFP-PUAN) launched the Alumni Small Grants Program. USEFP-PUAN is committed to awarding $1 million in grants over the next four years, as part of the U.S. Embassy’s five-year Alumni Engagement Plan.  All registered and confirmed members of the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network are eligible to apply for these grants of up to $5,000.

Funding is available for projects that support and develop new Pakistani voices and leaders, provide educational or economic opportunities for Pakistani youth and the general public, create opportunities for regional engagement, promote community service, and increase understanding about the United States.  The grants program is intended to help alumni take what they learned during their exchange experience to spread throughout their communities in Pakistan.
