Karachi Math Circles: Revolutionizing Math Education

Dania Hassan, a U.S. Summer Sisters Program 2016 alumna, has launched an Alumni Small Grant (ASG) project that is revolutionizing math education in Karachi. Karachi Math Circles is a groundbreaking initiative that engages students through problem-solving techniques and innovative approaches.

Dania aims to foster a love for STEM, especially mathematics, from a young age, showing students that math goes beyond textbooks. With the support of dedicated volunteers and experts, she visits schools across Karachi, inspiring both teachers and students with exciting math concepts.

Through captivating activities like Hanoi’s Tower, Konigsberg Bridge Problem, and discussions on non-orientable objects, Dania brings math to life! Students get to take home brain-teasing worksheets and continue their math journey even after the sessions end.

Karachi Math Circles is an innovative approach to math education that is making a real difference in the lives of students in Karachi. Join us in applauding Dania Hassan for her groundbreaking work!
