On June 19, the U.S. Consulate General in Karachi welcomed 45 YES students who returned to Pakistan from the United States. Partner institution iEARN hosted the reception, and participating students shared their U.S. experiences and plans for continued community service in Karachi. Consul General Mike Dodman emphasized the role that alumni play as cultural ambassadors between the United States and Pakistan. The event received widespread and positive coverage in Urdu and English print and television media.
