PUAN and IVLP alumnus Amar Guriro is an environmental journalist who has recently conducted an online session about the ‘Impacts of COVID-19 lockdown on nature and mother Earth’.
Ammar, in his session, highlighted how wildlife is thriving due to minimal animal hunting and how isolation is giving animals a chance to reclaim spaces. Not only this, but he also discussed the positive impact on climate change with a reduction in greenhouse gases, reformation of the damaged ozone layer, and reduced fossil fuel and gas emissions, leading to improved air quality.
