A diverse group of religious scholars and youth gathered in Peshawar on Saturday to discuss the importance of interfaith harmony and how it can be used to promote peace.
The event, which was held at the Directorates of Youth Affairs Peshawar office hall, was organized by US Mission Pakistan, PUAN, and Directorates of Youth Affairs Peshawar and was led by PUAN alumni M Hussain Jan and Baljeet Singh.
Maulana Abdul Qadir from the Muslim community, Augustin Jacob from the Christian community, and Subhash and Rohan from the Hindu community shared their experiences and thoughts on how their respective religions emphasize on interfaith harmony.
They all agreed that interfaith harmony is essential for building a peaceful and prosperous society. They also stressed the importance of understanding and respecting the beliefs of others, regardless of their faith.
The event was a success and highlighted the importance of interfaith harmony in society. It showed that people from different faiths can come together and work towards a common goal of peace and understanding.
The event was also a reminder that interfaith harmony is not just about tolerance, but about genuine respect for the beliefs of others. It is about building bridges between different communities and creating a more harmonious society for all.
