Meet Mohibullah Kakar, a senior member of PUAN who also volunteered his time as mentor during PUAN Virtual Summer Internship Program 2021. Mohibullah was also a member of the Strengthening Civil Society Organizations Training Institute Program in 2019 organized by UMass Amherst Donahue Institute Civic Initiative with partner Institute of Rural Management (IRM) and funded by U.S. Embassy, Pakistan. Kakar has done MBA-Finance from Institute of Management Science (IMS), University of Balochistan, Quetta. Being a committed and passionate professional, he loves to volunteer his services to the community in different ways. Some of his community services include but not limited to arranging free medical camps (he supervised a free medical camp during 2021 with mission to safeguard the target population including Afghan refugees from the pandemic, seasonal, and general diseases), working on environmental protection and climate change (voluntarily collecting saplings for a tree plantation campaign each year), providing volunteer mentorship and helping widow-headed households, low-income families, unemployed daily laborers, and unemployed white-collar workers.
Kakar also recently conducted a focused group discussion (FGD) to pinpoint the educational gaps during COVID-19 and suggested appropriate workable solutions to these emerging gaps. Mohibullah Kakar has 16 years of experience with a demonstrated history of working in the government and NGOs. He is currently working as Deputy Director Operations (A) District Pishin & Qila Saifullah.
PUAN wishes him all the best for future endeavors.
