Group Discussion with PUAN Environment Interest Group Ends

PUAN held a closed-group discussion of it’s Environment Interest Group on Friday, May 21, 2021. Around 20 recipients of several USG funded exchange programs and sectoral experts working directly or indirectly for environment restoration participated in the meet-up. Elizabeth Smith, Deputy Public Diplomacy Management Officer, U.S. Embassy Islamabad gave the opening remarks at the occasion. The participants debated on the various burning issues that mother earth is facing and how can they be addressed by bridging the gap between policy and practice.

Towards the second half, PUAN team also oriented the participants on Alumni Small Grant (ASG) and how can that funding window be utilized for brining meaningful change.
