One out of four girls and one out of six boys are subjected to sexual assault before they turn 18, and the unreported cases in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are ten times higher. Fulbright alumna Dr. Bushra Rahim is creating awareness about the menace of child abuse and the prevention mechanism through capacity-building sessions for government school students, teachers, and local councilors. Dr. Rahim completed her PhD in Education Administration and Policy Studies from University at Albany on the Fulbright Program and currently serves as the Deputy Director at the Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department, KP.
