Fulbright Specialist Dr. James Robinson is a professional improviser who brought his project “Improvisation and Mental Health” to Pakistan in 2018. He uses improvisation as a training module for social workers to listen more deeply, police officers to de-escalate violent situations, and people struggling with anxiety to manage their feelings.
In his talk, he shares the rules of improvisation and his Fulbright experience in Pakistan.
