Featuring Asma Jhangir for Women’s History Month

#SheInspires – Asma Jahangir is a Pakistani human rights lawyer and social activist who co-founded and chaired the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan. She also served as the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief from 2004-2010. A passionate social rights activist, Jahangir was awarded the UNESCO/Bilbao Prize for the Promotion of a Culture of Human Rights.
