Rida Naz is our alumna of the English Access Microscholarship Program 2012-2014. She strongly believes that we all have a future in which we should trust. This approach has never let her down and has made all the difference in her life. Tough situations always build strong people in the end and same happened to Rida. There were times in her life when circumstances didn’t go the way she wanted but she always stayed brave and pushed it out.
Rida’s firm believe in future began paying off when she qualified for English Access Microscholarship Program and successfully completed it. The program polished her skills and shaped her mindset making her learn to think bigger and utilize her enhanced skills and available resources to turn impossibility into possibility.Soon after completion of this program, Rida received a two-years scholarship to enroll into the most challenging last two years of high school education, International Baccalaureate Diploma at UWC Adriatic, in Italy. Moreover, right before its completion, she again received a scholarship to pursue bachelors in double majors of Accounting and Business Management at Luther College in the USA. “My Access experience has provided me a path to professional growth anywhere I go”, says Rida.
To Rida, more than learning English Language Skills, this Access Program was about becoming brave. She gained immense confidence that is taking her around the world; because she believes that English is a brilliant language as it brings people together. Through this program, she as has acquired strong networking skills that helped her build connections with diverse communities, workplaces, events, and more. “It has indeed changed my life from the moment I stepped into the first class of Access in 2012 and it will continue to impact my professional life as a practicing CPA in future Insha’Allah”, says Rida. To give back to her community, she joined her friends of Aims team and other acquaintances to help in projects by finding funding sources, documenting and more.
Rida aims to work for projects regarding women empowerment in future and we are so happy to see this ambitious girl making progress.
