Country Cultural Attaché, Farah Chery-Medor and Deputy Cultural Attaché, Philip Assis, U.S. Embassy, Islamabad met with Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) Country President Syed Khurram Gillani and President of the local Islamabad-Rawalpindi Chapter, Syed Shahid Kazmi and his team.
During the meeting, U.S. Embassy representatives and PUAN leadership discussed alumni engagement efforts during the pandemic. The alumni leaders shared ideas and suggestions on how to improve outreach efforts while following COVID-19 safety protocols.
Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) is an association of U.S. exchange alumni who are committed to making meaningful contributions to Pakistan and comprise of current and former Pakistani participants of U.S. federal government-sponsored exchange programs.
