Discussion on Putting Environmental Laws into Action: From Challenges to Solutions

Under periodic meet-ups of ‘PUAN Interest Group on Environment and Energy’, the tribe recently had a virtual meet-up. This month’s theme was ‘Putting Environmental Laws into Action: From Challenges to Solutions’. The session was moderated by Humzah Yazdani, Fulbright alumnus from PUAN ISB-RWP Chapter, Manager (Legal) Pakistan LNG Limited, Islamabad. Speakers for the session included:

1. Karol Boudreaux, Environment Officer, USAID, Washington D.C.

2. Ahmad Rafay Alam, Environment Lawyer, Yale World Fellow and Partner at Saleem, Alam & Co. Senior Advisor to Air Quality Asia and Member of the Hisaar Foundation Think Tank on the Rational Use of Water, Lahore

3. Syeda Hadika Jamshaid, Ministry of Climate Change, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad.
