CDI Promotes Interfaith Harmony

They say that the essence of all religions is one, only their approaches are different. With similar notion in mind, PUAN members Adnan Riaz and Tuba Azeem have recently made a humble effort to inculcate interfaith harmony by starting with a smaller group for a larger pluralistic society. Under Community Development Initiative (CDI) project, the Muslim students from a local madrassa paid an exploratory visit to a Church at Rawalpindi and Sikh Temple Panja Sahib at Hassan Abdal, Attock. The students interacted with practitioners and religious clerics of Christianity and Sikhism, respectively and explored common themes & religious concepts for inter-faith harmony.

The representatives from Church also visited local madrassa and learned about their curriculum followed by an interaction with teachers and students.

We are proud of you Adnan and Tuba for all your efforts to make this world a better place to live.
