Ayesha’s Inspiring Story from Being an Introvert to being an Extrovert

Meet Ayesha Iqbal who is our English Access Microscholarship Program alumna (2013-2014). When her access journey started, she was a timid and introverted girl. This program let Ayesha explore leadership qualities in her and a passion to help people sustain their life through polishing their skills. After completing the program, she had become courageous enough to speak in front of an audience and all the confidence she gained from this program also helped her in her higher studies.

“The Access Program has changed me from a silent girl to one who is never afraid to talk to new people, learn new things, and give back to society,” tells, Ayesha.

Ayesha interviewed many political and military officials as part of the projects during her studies at National Defense University as a policymaking student. She credits the success of all these interviews to the Access Program because the confidence she gained from the program made this possible. “Due to the Access Program my skills were polished to a level that helped me in organizing conferences including “LCL Conference 2017” and “TEDx Islamabad Conference 2017,” says Ayesha.

She also developed acting skills through her plays after which she participated in the Student’s Council Week at my college and got the second position in ‘Shakespeare is Alive 2017’. She also organized Women International Film Festival (WIFF) 2018 and participated/organized different PUAN ISB/RWP Chapter Activities, including “Promoting Arts and Culture of Pakistan 2018”, “The E-TEACHER ALUMNI CONFERENCE 2018”, “Instilling Confidence in Women through Self-Defense Training and Legal Awareness 2019” and “Access Summer Training Institute (ASTI) 2019”.

PUAN wishes this young talent all the best in her future endeavors. Keep Shining Girl!
