Sobia Nosheen: An Activist and Social Entrepreneur

Sobia Nosheen, now a successful certified Professional Anxiety Coach & Life-Style Coach, is our fellow of the “Legislative Process and Governance Fellowship,” which strengthened her social activism, and the “Emerging Global Leadership Initiative (EGLI) Fellowship,” of Atlas Corps, which resulted in shaping her social entrepreneurship journey. The EGLI fellowship also allowed her to serve at the Malala Fund in Washington DC, where she played a critical and active role in supporting girls’ education in Pakistan, engaging with, and maintaining effective relationships with grantees, ensuring that grant funds were spent appropriately and co-developed the Pakistan portfolio; nurturing a community of practice in Pakistan.

Sobia believes that EGLI fellowship changed the way she looked at the world and helped her in getting a better perspective of the root cause of the social issues that she had been struggling to solve for years. Instead of focusing on fixing the symptoms, Sobia has learnt to identify the ultimate reasons behind the symptoms and started working toward addressing them. Through her recently established educational brand, “girlhasitall™”, Sobia is busy in shifting paradigms of nearly a thousand clients. She is also the founder of two Environmentally Friendly Green Brands, namely Zareesh n Belle™, and Zareesh Soapery™.

We wish her best of luck for all the times to come.
